Spring Conference Celebrates 35th Anniversary of SNA
SNA President Nancy Lane reports high
evaluations for the Spring Publishers’ con-
ference, held last month in Palm Springs,
CA, and said “This conference was special
as we celebrated SNA’s 35th anniversary.
The programming was strong and
addressed a variety of relevant topics. In
the end, attendees loved the opportunity to
share ideas and discuss challenges and that
is why those types of sessions scored the
highest. In a lot of ways, we’re not that
different than we were 35 years ago when
family owners got together for these same
reasons. SNA members should be proud of
our rich history and our bright future.”
Clockwise from above, SNA President Nancy Lane and friends cut the celebratory cake in honor of SNA’s
35th; Ginger Moorhouse, publisher of The Bakersfield Californian delivered a highly rated keynote speech;
Harrison Cochran, publisher/Aurora Sentinel (CO) and Kevin Barry, CEO/President of ASP Westward LP

The success of the SNA Online Network relies on newspaper members voluntarily
providing limited space on their website where SNA can sell national (non-compet-
There are 2 online advertising options that SNA would like you to consider:
The first option is to provide one (1) rotating 120x60 pixel ad on the home page; the
2nd option is to provide six (6) 120x60 pixel ads "run of site". Member newspapers
will provide this space at no cost to SNA or the online network.
In return, SNA will provide rebates to members based on their level of participation
and the overall success this new network. Additional benefits will be offered as
online network revenue increases.
Our advertiser targets are national advertisers that will NOT interfere with your local
sales efforts. We are looking for a maximum of 6 national advertisers. I have a few
advertisers that are looking forward to this and are anxiously awaiting the pricing
